Rose Consort of Viols Lecture-Demonstration

The Rose Consort from England demonstrates playing on the very earliest viols, the only set in existence, built based on a painting from the 1490s. The painting and the instrument design process will be discussed. Part of the Pan-Pacific Gamba Gathering, July 31-August 4.
