Family Introduction to Early Music

"Early music" is music of Bach's time and hundreds of years before that. Like music of today, it was sometimes serious, sometimes fun. This interactive performance featuring the recorder and the viola da gamba will give adults and school-age children an introduction to these intriguing sounds and even get them on their feet to dance a very old dance. Part of the Pan-Pacific Gamba Gathering, July 31-August 4.
