Hawaiian Botanical Society Meeting

Mashuri Waite will explain how a small core group augmented by volunteers have restored an area of the Manoa Cliff Trail with many native species where once cinnamon, ginger and other invasive once crowded them out. Now there are 6 foot koa saplings many other native plants in the area. Additionally, Joanne Birch will give the PLANT OF THE MONTH talk on Astelia in Hawaii and the Pacific.
