A Special Literary Evening with Patricia Wood, Author of "Lottery"

The College of Education and the Center on Disability Studies present a special literary evening with Patricia Wood, a graduate student in the College of Education and author of the best-selling novel, "Lottery." The event will feature a reception, reading and question-and-answer session with Wood. It is free and open to the public.
Published in August 2007, Wood's debut novel is the poignant, funny, suspenseful, inspiring, and ultimately hopeful tale of a mentally challenged young man who wins $12 million in the Washington State Lottery.
She has been featured in USA Today and the novel has been reviewed and recommended by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Good Housekeeping, Redbook magazine, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, and many others.
