SOEST Open House

The School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) will host its 9th biennial Open House on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20. The theme for this year’s event is "Ocean Depths to Outer Space"
This free event features a diverse collection of hands-on demonstrations that highlight the Ocean, Earth, Atmosphere and Space Sciences and work in progress by our faculty, students and staff.
Activities will include interactive demonstrations, videos, poster presentations, laboratory tours, state-of-the-art computer animation, high-tech equipment displays and creative learning activities for all.
Hours are Friday, Oct. 19, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 20, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Call 956-3151 for more information.
