One-night performance of the American Place Theatre's Literature to Life adaptation of novelist Richard Wright's autobiographic "Black Boy."

Adapted for stage by Wynn Handman and performed by Charles Holt, "Black Boy" recounts the harrowing experiences of growing up in a segregated Jim Crow South.

Presented by the Office of Multicultural Student Services and co-sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Coalition-Hawai'i.
