UH Bands Spring Concert

UH Wind Ensemble and the UH Symphonic Band present the first of two performances this semester - Grant Okamura, Brandt Payne, Gwen Nakamura, conductors
The core of the University of Hawai`i Band program is its outstanding concert bands. The Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony are made up of the best instrumental musicians on campus. This internationally recognized group has twice hosted the American Bandmasters Association Conference. In addition, the Wind Ensemble has traveled to Reno, Nevada to perform at the College Band Directors National Conference in 1996. In March of 2000, the group also performed at the American Bandmasters Association Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. In March of 2004, the Wind Ensemble had a successful trip to Reno, Nevada to perform at the prestigious College Band Directors National Conference.
