Creating a Character for Feature Animation by John Edgar Park

From Concept to Render: the Creation of a Feature Animation Character. How does a character go from a design sketch to finished film? John Edgar Park will show the many steps of the journey, using examples and behind-the-scenes footage from Disney's, Meet the Robinsons. You'll learn about story, visual development, modeling, rigging, EFX, layout, shot finaling and more.
John Park is a Lead Character Technical Director at Disney Animation Studios. Prior to Disney, John worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks.
