March 4, 7:00pm - 8:15pm
Mānoa Campus, Center for Hawaiian Studies, room 202 Add to Calendar

This 2004 tutorial by activist-specialists Linda Bevis and Edward Mast presents a fast-moving guide to the tragic events which began with the spawning and growth of Zionism, the intense conflict of 1947-48, the military occupation of 22-percent "Palestine" in 1967, and the ongoing quest for equal rights, justice, and peace.

This is one of many events from Feb. 26 - March 14 that are part of the 2008 Hawai'i Symposium on Palestine entitled "WHO ARE THE PALESTINIANS? UNDERSTANDING THE NAKBA." All events are free, so come learn more about Palestine and the Palestinian - Israeli Conflict by attending a workshop, lecture, panel or film!
