The Second Annual LGBTI Gathering: Voice and Vision
April 4, 2008 - April 5, 2008Manoa Campus, Campus Center Ballroom and Meeting Rooms
Join us for the second annual gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) individuals and allies for a two-day conference on "Voice and Vision."
Concurrent sessions are planned along two tracks: one primarily for student interests and one dealing primarily with faculty and staff issues. Sample topics include LGBTI transition to college, gay-owned businesses, same sex marriage in Hawaii, and de-gendering the UH system. There will also be keynote addresses and entertainment. For registration materials see your campus LGBTI commissioners or email lgbtq@hawaii.edu. Scholarships are available to help defray travel costs for students.
