Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society’s 15th Biennial Conference- Leaving a Legacy: Recreating our Work and Life
Every two years, the Honolulu Pacific Gerontological Society (HPGS) Conference brings an opportunity for education on aging, networking and dialogue for professionals and the general public alike. This year, the 2-day conference will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center on September 15-16, 2008.
The 2008 Biennial Conference is unique since HPGS will be collaborating with the Volunteer Resource Center of Hawaii (VRCH) to host an international event that will not only feature aging workshops and plenary sessions but also focus on volunteer recruitments, administration, disaster planning and first responders, and global aging issues.
Advanced registration is required for the two day conference. Early bird registration is due before August 18, 2008. Discount rates are available for seniors, caregivers and students.
