2009 JET Informational Meeting

Recruitment for the 2009 Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program is now in progress. Interested parties are encouraged to attend this informational session and no reservations are necessary.

The JET Program, which began in 1987, seeks to help enchance internationalization in Japan by promoting mutual understanding between Japan and other countries. The program is based upon intensifying foreign language education in Japan and promoting international exchange at the local level through fostering ties between Japanese youth and JET Program participants. This program also provides valuable opportunitites for the participants to learn about Japan and the Japanese culture.
