UH Contemporary Music Ensemble

The UH Contemporary Music Ensemble will present a concert devoted entirely to the unique music of American composer George Crumb. The concert will feature selections from "Night of the Four Moons," for alto, flute, banjo, amplified cello and percussion. Also on the program are movements from "Music for a Summer Evening" for two amplified pianos and percussion and "Four Nocturnes" for violin and piano. Finishing the program will be Crumb's song cycle on Walt Whitman's texts, "Apparition," for soprano and amplified piano.

$10 general admission, $6 students & seniors at the door
