Deciding Who Cares? Legal Handbook Available

The University of Hawai`i Elder Law Program (UHELP) announces that its latest publication "DECIDING WHO CARES?”: A Legal Handbook For Hawai`i’s Older Persons, Families, and Other Caregivers is available at the law school for the University of Hawai`i community. Pick up a free copy in the Administrative Office (Room 114), 2515 Dole Street.
"DECIDING WHO CARES?" will guide you in a simplified way through several areas of legal concerns facing caregivers and the persons they care for. This is a sequel to our very popular handbook, "Deciding What If?".
Baby Boomers are at the center of a new focus at the intersection of law, aging, and medicine. Many are caregivers for the first time and need to know about resources and support for their role as caregivers. Most importantly, they need to get a head start on planning ahead for themselves. By planning ahead and using the information contained in this handbook, you can help decide who cares for you when you need help.
