October 30, 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Manoa Campus, Kuykendall 410

Professor Nedra Reynolds' book,Geographies of Writing: Inhabiting Places and Encountering Difference, addresses problems of our experience of space in the context of higher education, arguing that theories of writing and rhetoric must engage the metaphorical implications of place without ignoring materiality.

She extends this scholarship in her colloquium address, "The Where of Writing: Lessons from Travel Writing for Place-Based Composition."
