Timpuyog Bake Sale

The University of Hawai’i’ at Manoa’s Timpuyog Organization will hold a fundraising bake sale to help raise money for the Ilokano Language and Literature Program’s drama, video, and song festival as well as for the Ilokano B.A. scholarship banquet. An assortment of goods—home-baked by the Timpuyog members—such as chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, banana muffins, brownies, cupcakes, rice krispies treats, snicker doodles, oreo crunch bars with walnuts will be sold at the event.
The Timpuyog Organization is comprised of students enrolled in Ilokano language courses at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Founded to support the UHM Ilokano Language and Literature Program, the Timpuyog Organization aims to develop in the students leadership skills, to equip them with knowledge about Filipino values and traditions, to prepare them to serve the university and community through academic, civic, artistic, and linguistic activities, and to instill pride in their Ilokano heritage and Philippine ancestry.
