Artist Talk: Charles Yuen

Charles Yuen lives and paints in New York City. He is a recent recipient of a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant. One person exhibitions in New York City have been at Elizabeth Harris Gallery, Art in General, Metaphor Contemporary Art, LeoTony Gallery, and the Asian American Arts Center. Reviews of his work have appeared in numerous publications including Art in America, the New York Times, Time Out, and Art Papers. Originally from Hawaii, he enjoys a rich mix of cultural influences and iconoclastic humor in his art.
