January 6, 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Campus Center 308 Add to Calendar

The new year will start with a great first event for Graduate Women in Science.

On January 6th, 2011 we have the honor to welcome Virginia Hinshaw, Chancellor UH-Manoa, as our first speaker.

Title: "A Changing World"

Science is a fascinating world and new discoveries happen every day - in addition, women are increasingly leading the way. This will be a time for discussion about tools that all of us need to move ahead and make positive change - in our own lives and the lives of others.

After the talk we will have a social gathering with light refreshments.
