Peace Corps: a Celebration of 50 Years of Service

The exhibit features the University of Hawaii's vital role in the development of Peace Corps training in the early years of its founding and highlights Hawaii's returned Peace Crop Volunteer [RPCV] residents.

The multi-media exhibit includes historical film footage of President Kennedy and Sargent Shriver, archived photos including the Hilo Training Center, Waipio Valley training village, personal photos, Peace Corps memorabilia and artifacts from the UHM Spacial and Congressional Collections along with items provided by local RPCVs.
