Come be a part of the First Annual UH Manoa Piano Project!

This highly unique event features 24 different pianists from UH Manoa joining together to present a performance of Debussy's 24 Preludes for piano.

Debussy, the iconic impressionistic composer, wrote these individual and drastically different Preludes in 1910 and 1913 using many different cultural and musical traditions: medieval, Spanish, non-Western, popular tunes of the day, and even Javanese music, which Debussy is able to make his own.

These vivid visual pieces conjure up a different image or sensory association for the listener.
