Rikka, Uchinankai “Let’s go to Okinawa”: Introduction to Uchinaguchi

Reponding to requests from Nisei Okinawans in Hawai‘i, three linguists are currently developing textbooks of Uchinaguchi. By using these textbooks, students will learn not only basic expressions of Uchinaguchi, but also about Okinawan culture. Professor Shigehisa Karimata, University of the Ryukyus, will discuss this textbook project.

This talk will be in Japanese and be translated into English.
