Some Plans to Revitalize Ryukyuan Languages.

With the exception of Japanese, languages spoken in Okinawa are in danger of extinction. Yet the efforts of concerned Okinawans to revitalize these languages have not met with much success.

Professor Masahide Ishihara, University of the Ryukyus, will introduce his proposal to revitalize the heritage languages of the Ryukyus and will seek feedback on it.
