These 2.5 hour workshops will provide an integrated approach to meeting the needs of diverse students in your classroom, including students with disabilities:

Application of Universal Design for Learning

• Balancing rigor with the need for flexibility • Diversifying instructional methods and materials • Specific strategies to increase classroom exclusiveness

Responding to Cultural Diversity

• Recognizing the impact of diverse identities • Responding to students with disabilities in a cultural context • Issues of cultural competence

Tools for Mentoring

• Strategies for nurturing students with disabilities • Providing real-life learning • Learning from our students
