Sambasize!

The Sambasize workshop on Wednesday, September 28 is called HIP TO HIP and it is free for UH students and the community.

Explore current movement patterns found in Brazilian/Latin American dance and belly dance. Students will learn fundamental foot movement patterns and hip rotations from Latin America as well as Middle Eastern hip shimmy patterns, isolations, and movements expressed in belly dance. All will be combined to create a fun fusion of choreography from these two major dances.

This workshop will be taught by two well-known dance masters: Adela Chu (Sambasize) and Taia Chard.
