To open his exhibit "Life in Colors in Hawai`i 2012" at UHM, Akihiko Izukura, renowned textile artist from Kyoto, will share his philosophy and approach to art. At the conclusion of his talk, he will demonstrate his Senshokudo ceremony focusing on silk reeling.
