OIV Workshop - Learn a New Tool for Image Presentations

February 3, 11:45am - 12:15pm
Mānoa Campus, Hamilton Library Room 113 Add to Calendar

The OIV is a free presentation tool available to all students, faculty and staff at UH Manoa, and it can be used as an alternative to PowerPoint. It is free software that you can download from ARTstor (an image database included in the Manoa library's electronic resources).

You can make slide shows like PowerPoint with some important enhancements for viewing and presenting images (from ARTstor or your local computer) such as: 1) Zoom-in/out and pan images while giving presentations; 2) Use high-quality images for presentations; 3) Create slide shows easily and efficiently; 4) Use ARTstor images and save time of copying and pasting data; 5) Import existing PowerPoint presentations; 6) Search text in your slides by uploading your slide shows to ARTstor (*Instructors only); 7) Share your presentation slides with other UHM users by uploading to ARTstor (*Instructors only).

This workshop will have a short demonstration of the OIV and a Q & A session. It is open to students, faculty and staff at UH Manoa.
