"A Conversation with W.S. Merwin"

The University of Hawaii at Manoa proudly welcomes the 2012 Dan and Maggie Inouye Distinguished Chair in Democratic Ideals, W.S. Merwin, United States Poet Laureate (2010-2011)and Pulitzer Prize-winning and National Book Award-winning Poet and Essayist.
In his role as the 2012 Inouye Chair, Merwin will take part in campus and community events, including a public keynote address. There will also be a book signing after Merwin's public presentation, and a number of his books will be available for purchase.
