Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference

The Graduate Student Organization presents the 4th Annual Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference: Cycles of Transformations and Transformations of Cycles. Students from UH and beyond will present in a wide variety of disciplines, including Political Science, Psychology, Linguistics, American Studies, Meteorology, Architecture, Education, English, Religion, Art, Dance, and more.
We welcome Setsu Shigematsu, Assistant Professor of Media and Cultural Studies from the University of California Riverside, as our keynote speaker.
Join us for dinner 5:00 Friday in Kama 107, followed by a screening of Dr. Shigematsu's film Visions of Abolition and a Q&A session.
The conference starts at 9:00am on Saturday in Kama 107 for breakfast before we split off for four panel sessions throughout the day. Return to Kama 107 for lunch at 12:30 followed by our Keynote Presentation, and again for dinner at 5:00pm.
