Bruce Greiner is Vice President and Enterprise Portfolio Executive, Office of the CIO. In this capacity, Bruce is responsible for Enterprise Infrastructure Services, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Financial Services, Enterprise On Demand Services, Corporate Supplier Relations, and Employee Provisioning. This includes reporting the availability and performance of IBM's critical internal IT systems and networks, coordinating IT investment across IBM's business units and geographies, and managing IBM's internal enterprise-wide application portfolio from an investment and compliance perspective.
Previously, Bruce was Vice President, CIO Operations, Office of the CIO, overseeing operations of the Business Transformation/Information Technology organization to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of IBM’s information technology investments to IBM’s business strategy.
Bruce has held several key roles in support of IBM's transformation into a Globally Integrated Enterprise both within the Software Business unit as well as part of the Corporate Staff. He has led major, multi-year global IT transformation initiatives for IBM's value chains. He also led the transformation and consolidation of the CIO organization and drove the IT integration of one of IBM's largest acquisitions.Subsequent lectures will be held on Tuesdays, beginning May 29, 4:15-5:30 PM, at the Shidler College of Business Faculty Lounge, Room D-207.
