Kapa Tools: Hohoa and I`e kuku
June 2, 10:00am - 2:00pmManoa Campus, Lyon Arboretum, 3860 Manoa Rd.
This hands-on workshop, led by Solomon Apio, a skilled woodworker amd kapa tool maker, is a chance to create your own set of kapa beaters. Materials, supplies and tools will be provided. Wood blanks for the 2 kapa beaters are included in the class fee. Students should be able to take home their finished hohoa and i`e kuku at the end of the class. (limit 6 students).
Space is limited to students enrolled in the class. $100. registration required.
