Growing Green in the Garden

A five day class (June 4-8)for children' who have just completed grades K-4.
Roll up your sleeves and get into our garden to learn all about gardening: from preparing the soil, worm composting, planting, tending, harvesting, cooking AND eating fruits and veggies from the garden. We will go on hikes around the arboretum and take time to relax and create art in the garden. Students will learn the art, science and fun of gardening and discovering this amazing place!
Class fee: $200. Registration required. Registration form is on our website at www.hawaii.edu/lyonarboretum
