GEO/CTE Workshop: MEDIA LITERACY

The General Education Office (GEO) and Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) invite you to attend the second session in our Fall ‘12 Workshop Series. The interactive presentation, titled “Ideas for Enhancing Media Literacy in the Classroom” will be led by CTE’s specialist in Educational Technology, Leslie Lopez. The session will challenge your current assumptions about the topic and provide innovative ways integrate media literacy into any course.

21st century students are challenged with discerning media fact from fiction in unprecedented ways. This workshop is for faculty, graduate students, and academic support staff interested in approaching media literacy more effectively and dynamically when working with students (and in their own endeavors).
