The Brave New World of Self-Publishing with Richard Tillotson

E-books and on-demand printing present new opportunities and new dangers for would-be authors. Why try it and what to expect if you do? Richard Tillotson talks about his own experiences in the fast changing world of book publishing and discusses design, production, marketing, and distribution in Hawaii, the continent, and on-line.
Richard Tillotson is a novelist, playwright, and Vice-Chair of the Hawaii Book and Music Festival. He has also worked as a writer and creative director for several of Hawaii`s largest advertising agencies. His novel, Acts of God While on Vacation, was a national semi-finalist for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award and was named by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser as `"the best Hawaii fiction book of 2011."
