NSO Leader Recruitment Information Session

The Student Life and Development (SLD) Office is currently recruiting current UHM students to serve as leaders for our Summer 2013 New Student Orientation (NSO) program.
The NSO program is designed to help Freshmen and Transfer students transition successfully into their new phase of life, attending college at UHM. Sessions for Parents and Family members are also coordinated to help them become strong supports for their student in this important phase of their life.
In this position, student leaders will:
-Serve as ambassadors of the UH Manoa Campus and the SLD office with the main purpose of helping new students successfully transition into UH Manoa
-Conduct discussions, facilitate sessions, lead activities, provide campus tours, dialogue with participants, and share their college life experiences

Leaders have the opportunity to network and collaborate with a diverse array of UHM resources, programs and offices
