Dawn Bost, Professional Development & Research Coordinator, General Education Office & Manoa Writing Program

A peer review is essential to research and academic development. Although the process is considered essential, it has also been criticized as slow, ineffective at times, and misunderstood.

This workshop explains the efficiency and effectiveness of peer review.

The workshop will provide ideas on how to:

• Set the stage for successful Peer Review activities

• Conduct constructive Peer Review sessions

• Use Peer Review for student evaluation and grade assignment

The workshop also provides a brief interactive and illustrative opportunity.
