This presentation will include contemporary scholarly approaches to:

  • Evaluation of teaching in a research intensive university
  • Summative and formative (informal to formal)
  • Performance Reviews of Teaching (PRT)
  • Faculty-specific engagement in PRT training & implementation
  • Strategic institutional supports, including funding, expertise, mentoring and technological resources.
Part 2 1:15-2:00 p.m.
Stay on after Part I to hear about a unique, flexible 4-month online international program that prepares senior educational leaders in scholarly approaches to curriculum and pedagogical practices. Following a brief introduction, this interactive presentation will engage participants in a dialogue around program processes, outcomes, and application deadlines.
