Linda Greenhouse and Eugene R. Fidell will give a public lecture entitled "Guantanamo and the Supreme Court"
The Guantanamo detentions and military commission trials have gripped the public's attention in the United States and around the world. They have presented a host of legal and political issues, and involved Congress and the Supreme Court in a prolonged, on-and-off conversation. What issues still have to be faced, and what does the future hold for Guantanamo and the detainees? What lessons can we draw from this saga?
