Learn how to get started raising chickens in your own backyard. Meg Lin and Pat Chung have each been caring for their own chickens (and living peacefully with their neighbors!) for several years. Learn how you can enjoy delicious fresh eggs, practice chemical-free bug control and receive all the benefits of free fertilizer for your garden. Learn how to care for new chicks, chicken laws and local ordinances, if you should build or buy a chicken coop, how to pick a good breed, and all the other important questions to get you and your chickens off to a long and happy relationship!
