Do Digital Devices Work Better Than Paper Materials for Learning?

On the occasion of the visit by Dean Kanji Akahori and faculty members and students from Hakuoh University from September 3–4, we invite faculty, students, and guests to learn about Japanese efforts in educational reform through two presentations by Dr. Akahori.

Dr. Kanji Akahori is Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Education in Hakuoh University. He is a Professor Emeritus of Tokyo Institute of Technology. Dr. Akahori has been a senior high school teacher in Shizuoka, a lecturer and associate professor of Tokyo Gakugei University, and professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology. During his career, Dr. Akahori has also served as a guest professor at The Open University of Japan and the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies.
