Fair Use, Creative Commons, and Other Copyright Issues in Research and Teaching

This presentation will cover issues that graduate students and new faculty members may encounter in the course of teaching and in publishing their own research.

Discussion will include the fair use doctrine, the use and effect of creative commons licensing, and the recent court decision involving the Google Books project.
