Finding the Silver Lining of the MÄnoa Flood

A reception to open the _Finding the Silver Lining of the MÄnoa Flood_ exhibit and commemorate the Library’s recovery from the 2004 Flood. Speakers will include UH System President David Lassner; former UH President David McClain, who was president at the time of the flood; Irene Herold, University Librarian; Andrew Wertheimer, chair of the Library and Information Science Program, and Jennifer Sabas of the Daniel K. Inouye Institute. The reception presents an opportunity to acknowledge the federal and state funding provided for recovery of the building and collections. Invited guests will include legislators, campus administrators, and donors to flood recovery efforts.
