Creating a Productive and Restorative Sabbatical
July 17, 12:00pm - 1:15pmMānoa Campus, Kuykendall 106 Events Room

Faculty are invited to learn the ways in which sabbaticals can make a substantial difference in the career and intellectual works of faculty. This workshop will discuss how MÄnoa faculty manage to prepare for sabbatical, generate new projects, re-generate themselves, and eventually return from their sabbatical. “…be true to the origins of the word (sabbatical)…Do not till the same soil; dare to do things differently for a year. You will be doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing—honoring your profession and the confidence placed in you—when you explore new areas… and generally upset your routine.†-Max Page, Academe For UH Manoa faculty on Oahu and neighbor island faculty, please register online at www.fmp.hawaii.edu/OnlineReg.html
