September 22, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Campus Center Executive Dining Room Add to Calendar

The Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship and Hawaii Student Entrepreneurs is pleased to host the first event of the Entrepreneurship Live speaker series. We're kicking off the Fall series with a local entrepreneur who made a name for himself on the hit TV series, Project Runway.

About the Entrepreneur
A third generation seamstress by familial tradition, "Kini" Zamora has viewed his world through the eye of a sewing needle since age 10. This hobby turned into a lifestyle when he attended Honolulu Community College's Fashion Technology program and New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, where he developed his design perspective and polished his skills. Kini was a competitor and finalist on Season 13 of Lifetime's Project Runway where he showed at New York Fashion Week. He then returned home to premiere at Honolulu Fashion Week. Currently, Kini Zamora is the founder of a self-named fashion house. Kini will share his journey as a fashion designer, and unique challenges and experiences of starting and running his fashion house.

These speaker series events are FREE to UH students, and made possible by First Insurance Company of Hawaii.
