Mānoa Campus, UH IT Center, 1st Floor Conference Room Add to Calendar

To address long-standing issues and reduce the administrative workload on faculty, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation established the Research Compliance Task Force (RCTF) with the charge to identify and recommend improvements to current compliance processes and procedures at the University of Hawai‘i.

All faculty, staff and students are invited to join UH Vice President for Research and Innovation Vassilis L. Syrmos and members of the RCTF at a forum hosted by Chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman (UH Mānoa location), to discuss the results and recommendations of the recently completed RCTF report.

The report can be viewed at the following link: http://www.hawaii.edu/research/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/UH-RCTF-Report.pdf

In addition to the discussion on the RCTF report, VP Syrmos would also like to update everyone on the UH research enterprise and our efforts to help diversify the state’s economy through the aggressive commercialization of UH research.

The forum will be held:
Date: Friday, November 20, 2015
