GEO/CTE Workshops: Aligning General Education Curriculum & Major Requirements
December 3, 3:00pm - 4:15pmMānoa Campus, Kuykendall 106

For many students, it is difficult to meet their Major and Gen Ed requirements and succeed at the challenge of 15 to Finish. Too many students are finding themselves taking courses that are far afield of their majors, or worse yet, having to delay graduation until a rare Gen Ed course is available within their field of study. This Council of Colleagues will explore how departments are helping (and hampering) student effort to meet the 15 to Finish charge. All faculty interested in developing Gen Ed courses for their majors and those wanting to examine the 15 to Finish initiative are invited to the Fall edition of the Council of Colleagues-- a forum devoted to collegial faculty discussion of current issues.
