Mānoa Campus, School of Architecture Add to Calendar

A Solo Exhibition by Kiel Moe, AIA, “My Model of Models” will be featured at the Haigo and Irene Shen Architecture Gallery at the UH Mānoa School of Architecture in 2016 from March 14 to May 6. The gallery is open Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Kiel Moe is an associate professor of Architecture and Energy at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. This exhibition focuses on the evolution of his own model of models for design over the past twenty years. In the course of their development, the small projects—designed and built by the architect—reflect an increasingly immanent conception of architecture. Although subtle, the buildings manifest a sustained consideration of what the constitution of architecture is and should be in this century.

In conjunction with his solo exhibition, Kiel will give a public lecture "Our Model of Models", at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016, in the School of Architecture auditorium. An opening reception will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the Architecture gallery.
