The event features a screening of "So Long Asleep: Waking the Ghosts of a War" with the filmmaker Dr. David Plath. The documentary chronicles the project of exhuming, memorializing, and finally repatriating the remains of forced Korean laborers who died in Hokkaido during the Asia-Pacific War.
