On April 18 we have a very special guest who is going to present his research on Russian history. Michael Corsi is currently a graduate student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He has successfully defended his Master’s Thesis and will graduate this Spring. His thesis focuses on the outbreak of plague in the Russian Far East from roughly the period 1860-1911, which roughly corresponds to the outbreak of the Third Plague Pandemic to the climax of the Great Manchurian Plague in Russia and China.
