The UH Mānoa Library offers thousands of digital books that can be used as online resources for classes, whether as core readings or supplemental materials.

This workshop is organized into two parts in which faculty will learn ways of:

Part I: Locating online books using and exploring

  • OneSearch
  • Different types of Licenses (Single, Three, and Unlimited)
  • Voyager
  • Key eBook publishers (EBSCO and ProQuest)
Part II: Integrating online resources into Laulima courses
  • Which URL to use? Linking to the record, to the book, or to a page in the book?
  • Locating tools where links can be included for resources, web content, and lessons.
Participants should have instructor access to a Laulima course

BYOD: Bring your own device or share with a colleague. Limited laptops will be available for sharing. You will be able to request one on the registration form.
