Dr. Sungmin Cho from the Daniel K Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies will trace China's engagements with Western organizations that promote democracy. He will show that, contrary to appearances, the Chinese Communist Party has been relatively open to working with these organizations in key areas of governance.
